much of their vocabulary in common. Written Spanish is almost completely phonetic: Look at almost any Spanish word and you can tell how it is pronounced. The grammar is pretty straight forward and not very different from English grammar at all.
- Being the third largest city in the US, Chicago is quite diverse and offers a variety of
opportunities to be exposed to the Spanish language, people who speak it and their culture.
