Contrary to popular belief, not everyone who is bilingual can deliver an accurate interpretation
and it is definitely not as easy as it looks.
Trained and contracted by Cross Cultural Interpreting Services (an agency of Heartland
Alliance), my interpreting experience has been mostly in the medical field. However, I have
done plenty of interpreting for other purposes, particularly, in the non-profit sector.
